Latrines for Kiryowa

Guy and Marie-Michèle first journeyed to Jinja, Uganda with GIVE International. After volunteering in a number of GIVE’s development projects and consulting with members of the host community, they heard from the women of the community that clean water and sanitation was the main priority for the residents of Kiryowa. This problem was compounded by the fact that local community members don’t have access to latrines, and this causes a variety of infections and diseases that affect their quality of life.

As a result, Guy & Marie-Michèle are raising funds in order to assist in the construction of latrines in Kiryowa village, thus helping prevent contagious diseases.

Their goal is to raise $ 6,000 for the construction of these community-based latrines, and you can donate by choosing Kiryowa Latines Project from the list of projects on our donations page. You will receive an automated receipt for income tax purposes.
