Through running our programs alongside existing community-based 'grass-roots' organizations and agencies, GIVE INTERNATIONAL is making a significant and important impact through empowering the local population to take an active role in shaping their future.

Through our Education, Health Care, and Child Development programs, GIVE INTERNATIONAL provides program direction and supervision through providing trained volunteers for our programs that: • Facilitate programs that enhance the skills and abilities of elementary and secondary school teachers in East Africa. These programs target the identified needs of local teachers, and are staffed by GIVE with trained volunteers and operate in existing school facilities. • Facilitate programs in orphanages and children's homes that are selected based on current need and level of poverty. In these programs, GIVE volunteers focus on providing basic care such as bathing, feeding, nurturing and other basic life skills. • Facilitate mentorship programs in local hospitals, health clinics, and maternity wards in order to enhance the skills of East African health providers.
